Governing Law
2.1 This contract is subject to the law of England and Wales. These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between parties.
Purchases
3.1 You must bring a copy of your Mock Purchase Ticket the mock or admittance will not be allowed.
On receipt of the Mock paper by email, you will not download, print or share it with any other person.
To open your Mock paper you will need to use a desktop computer and not a phone or tablet.
If you have not received your Mock or Child’s results, please check your Junk/Spam folder before contacting 11 Plus Practice.
You will have access to these for a fixed period of time, which can not be extended under any circumstances. This will all be managed in a confidential manner.
The Mock 11 Plus papers will also be used by a company in Swindon for the same purposes, please ensure your child hasn’t already sat a Mock in Swindon as the paper will have been replicated.
Force Majeure
4.1 11pluspractice.com shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any defective to services that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
Viruses
5.1 We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by viruses, or other harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of the Site or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it. Please ensure your anti-virus application is kept up-to-date.
Cancellation/Refund
Mock Exams.
No Refund.
Once a booking has been confirmed and a place reserved on one of our mock exam tests, no refunds can be given.
No changes in dates or times are permitted.
Lost Property
11 Plus Practice are not responsible for any lost property. In the event that any items are found after the event, we will inform the children, but it is the parent’s responsibility to ensure that their child has all their belongings before leaving the hall. Parents are encouraged to check with their child and verify that they have everything before departure.
11 Plus Practice reserves the right to adjust the course fee(s) due if the tuition fees are amended for any reason. Any adjustments to the total course fee(s) will be included in, or deducted from, the final payment. Clients will be notified of any such adjustments as they occur.
Term fees of £480 will be requested on four occasions, during the course year.

A deposit of £160.00 will be taken to secure your child’s place for the commencement of tuition in October and is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Should any payment fees not be paid during the year, tuition will be terminated and 11 Plus Practice will be entitled to end the agreement and the deposit will be kept.
11 Plus Practice will impose a £35.00 administration charge on each occasion that it becomes necessary to pursue a late payment.This will apply to the deposit or tuition fees.
Compulsory Mock Tests
There are 3 compulsory Mock tests that you must book for your child which they must attend. You will get priority booking before general release. The are no refunds and changes of date or time once booked (this includes changing from morning to afternoon or vice versa), however can email the mock to be taken at home in the event your child can not attend.
Commencement of Tuition
A child may only attend classes once 11 Plus Practice has received a non-refundable/non-transferable deposit together with full payment.
If Enrolment or Tuition is Terminated
In the event of a child withdrawing from the course before the course commences, the course fee deposit will be retained and is non-transferable. In the event of a child withdrawing from the course part way through the year, the course fee deposit will be retained and is non-transferable.
Half a term notice is required if your child wishes to cease tuition.
Parental Commitment
11 Plus journey is a team effort between the tutors, child and parent.Historically we have had better results when a parent is actively involved in the 11-plus process.It has greatly helped the children achieve their potential.This involvement can be by marking homework, mini mocks and any assessments.Plus, if a child needs extra support outside of the lessons to reiterate subject knowledge and understanding.
Teaching Process
Teaching will be provided by highly qualified and experienced 11-plus tutors.
Our 11 Plus course consists of online 1:1 Tuition and face-to-face GL 10 week Course.The time or days of tuition cannot be changed once these have been agreed.
11-Plus Practice reserves the right to change the advertised class teacher at any time.
Online Platform Technology
We use both Skype and Zoom for these lessons.
11 Plus Practice accepts no liability for unforeseen circumstances such as power outages, internet provider failure or technical issues.
1:1 Online Tuition
Pupils are to have all books ready for their lesson.
Pupils will also need a pen and paper to write on and for the whiteboard.
Pupils must have a quiet room for their lessons and that no other internet devices are on during the half-hour session. Headphones have helped some pupils but are not necessary.
Missed Lessons
If a lesson is cancelled by 11 Plus Practice, an extra-help session(s) will be arranged to replace it.
It is not possible to offer a refund or a rearrangement of a lesson missed by a pupil, but work will always be emailed, and guidance given.
Test Assessments at Home
Tests should be completed by the child under standard test conditions without assistance from the parents.
Homework
All homework must be marked and gone over with your child, before the next session. It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure that all homework is completed each week.It is vital that parents help with children learning weekly spellings and words.
Mini Mocks
Mini mocks are an extra resource sent out and can be done when it is convenient.These will not be gone over by the tutor but should be marked and gone over at home.
Materials To Be Purchased
The course books, a whiteboard and pen, a folder with dividers and three exercise books, must be purchased before tuition commences.
Classroom-based courses
All classroom-based courses’ assessments and teaching will take place at Shurdington Community Centre, Bishops Road, Shurdington, GL51 4TB.
During the GL Course, the assistants will be responsible for routine administration and helping children individually whenever required.
Group Size
Groups are usually between 21-25 children, with 1:4 teacher/helper to student ratio.
Personal Property
All items of personal property are brought into 11 Plus Practice classroom are entirely at the owner’s risk. 11 Plus Practice will not be held responsible nor accept any liability for any loss or damage to any such items, howsoever caused.
Pupil Safety
The safety of our pupils is of paramount importance. Children should be brought into and collected from the tuition centre reception at the beginning and end of each class.To ensure your child’s safety, we ask that children do not leave the building unless they are accompanied by a parent/guardian. It is parents’ responsibility to emphasise this to your child.11 Plus Practice and its staff cannot be held responsible for the safety & welfare of any child outside the tuition centre.
Registration or application for Grammar Schools
It is the responsibility of parents to register or make applications to the Grammar schools. It is advisable for parents to visit schools of their choice on appointed open days in the Autumn term before the 11+ examinations.
